I'm a proud owner of a Thousand Sons army and I play it very well. However, when I go up against god tier lists, theres just no contest and I lose horribly as Tsons don't have any cheese to use other than a mini-screamer star in an allied detachment.

SO! I'm looking at:

Khorne list with FMCs and or berzerkers. Not sure if CD or CSM dex is better here.
Eldar/Dark Eldar list with Dark Reapers, Death Jesters and Phoenix Lord Maugan Ra. Basically if it ain't black I don't want it.
Ultramarines Calgar/honor guard star

Which is more competitive? Hell, are Thousand Sons better than either of those? What would a 2000 point list look like for the most competitive of these 3 themed armies?

THANKS FOLKS

Here's the most competitive, almost mono khorne list I could come up with.

Main Detachment, Chaos Daemons

HQ:
Bloodthirster with Greater Reward and Exalted Reward

Juggernaut herald, greater reward, locus of fury

Juggernaut herald, greater reward, locus of wrath

Juggernaut herald, greater reward

Troops:
10 bloodletters

10 plague bearers

FA:
20 flesh hounds of khorne

HS:
Daemon Prince of Khorne, wings, armor, greater reward

Allied detachment, CSM

HQ:
Daemon Prince of Khorne, wings, armor, Axe of Blind Fury, combat familiar, aura of dark glory

Troops:
20 cultists

FA:
Heldrake with Baleflamer

2000 points. Two solid objective holders. 3 FMCs, a Heldrake, a large Khornedog blob with all the fixins and some bloodletters for fluffy sprinkles on top.

Khorne for CD are not competitive. The only exception is flesh hounds.
They have beyond any doubt the worst DPs and troop choices.

If you like your TS army, then you could always ally them to Tzeentch CD, who are currently the most competitive choice, to make a themed and a half competitive list.

TS will never be competitive this edition due to their rules and points cost, yet you could even the playing field by using CD as your primary, taking fateweaver + a LoC, Some DPs or screamerstar.

So khorne would be more competitive than either ultramarines or death eldar?

Dog blob seems fun, grimoire it up and all that.
