Ok guys the title is a little cryptic. I only paint for pleasure so i have no specific army to paint for.

I bought a box of scouts and scout snipers and im looking to paint each in different legion colours, so far i have 1 da 1 ba and 1 sw, im currently in the middle of an imp fist. Im not a fan of the smurfs so they will be there if i cant come up with a tenth.

So all i ask is where do you guys think i should go from here. Name some legions and ill give them a shot.

Raven Guard would probably be a good one for Scouts.

Agreed raven guard would be sweet. I've always liked the mantis colours, also salamanders would be interesting. A quick google search will give you a plethora of options to chose from.

So hawk lords are a possibility raven guard are welk up there salamanders are on he short list but not sure on mantis.

Howling Griffons

There are a few Ultramarine successor chapters that incorporate their blue into various split schemes. The Angels Porphyr, Marines Errant, and Eagle Warriors are halved with white and the Sons of Guilliman are quartered (although considering the lack of total armor coverage, I'd probably stick with a halved scheme, if not solid colors). Would work in some otherwise lacking blue and add visual novelty (split scheme), while circumventing your distaste for UM.

I never thought about the split scheme. I shall have to have a look see lol

if you want to do some converting make a mini tabard out o GS and paint a templar neophyte!
