Hey guys, been working on some Vampire Counts recently, and thought I'd post some pics as I work my way through the project. Not got much done so far(the busy life of a commission painter) but figured I'd post some anyway.

First up, a Necromancer. Still got some work to do on him, not happy with the face, and the staff needs some more work. Might bring the brown on the cloak up a bit more too.

Next, a few skeletons. Looking at the pics I realized I forgot to black out the eye sockets, which is really irking me. I'll fix that next time I have time to work on my own models.

And a little group shot.

Let me know what you guys think, I love a bit of constructive criticism. I'll have some more stuff to show you chaps sooner or later, most likely some zombies.

Looks great! I like the colors and the little rust touches to the skeletons are very nice

My only question would be if you plan on including some brighter colors in other models? Things like glowing eyes or pompously dressed vampires etc. Might be hard to tie in with the more neutral colors you have shown so far.

Fantastic work! The quality is just superb.

I agree with Abaddon87. Make your HQ stand out with some bright, contrasting colours. They'll be utterly singular in this army and really be straight attention whores. I'd love to see how you do it.

Love it. Totally agree with the op's assessment; bring the brown up or introduce some depth.

Cheers for the comments guys. Yes my vampires will be dressed much more extravagantly. Also ghostly units will be a nice place to add a splash of colour to the army. I've got some grave guard on the way, as well as a wight king. Gonna go for a verdigris effect on the GG. Will be my first attempt at such an effect, so lets see how it goes!
