Hey guys, been playing the game a while now at around the 1200-1500 point mark at my local store (running tau and more recently orks) and have been recently offered a 2000 points game against a forge world necron player (expecting sentry pylons). Anyways I joined this forum simply for advice on my lists as I know they have many flaws and I just can't seem to balance the points right. I run a speed freaks army featuring Gutsmek because I love the idea of warbikers as troop choices, with all their bells and whistles, and I also adore the aesthetic of other Orky vehicles. Keep in mind that I also will build list more for fun than for tournament play, however I would at least like to survive for a few turns whilst crushing the 'crons under my wheels. Anywaywithout further ado, the list.

To offer a brief summary of how everything is meant to work, the troop choices (to my mind) should be able to handle most other troop choices from other lists, and maybe even heavier options. The Warboss is to accompany the Nobz in the battlewagon which should be a powerful melee unit that should quickly get into combat, with the battlewagons deffrolla offering good support. The Warboss also provides difficult model to kill as well. The 2 squads of deffkoptas are to deal with any armour I encounter and, especially when combined with the lootas who will be in the second battlewagon, should hopefully glance down AV13-14 vehicles. The dakkajet is in there for anti air support, again another role that can be supported by the lootas, and also because I love the model and I have allot of fun with the flyers rules. As mentioned earlier, the lootas will be stationed in the battlewagon, which has armour plates to ensure they can fire each turn as well as a mek to hopefully fix up a hull point or two. The Kannon on the battlewagon is there to pretty much add an extra Rokkit for the deffkoptas.
Please could I have any comments or criticism, bearing in mind that this will just be a friendly game played at my local store.

More lootas,
defcoptas will run away when first killed - they should be used in units of 5 or 1.
add 5+ feel no pain in noobs (weirdboy)
Dont expect that battlewagon will stay alive long enough to use deffrola.

Your warboss would benefit greatly from riding a bike. If you attach him to a bike unit he becomes a very creditable threat all on his own. This way you are spreading out your strength and cause your opponent to pick his focus fire more carefully.
Can you have more then one squad of ard boyz? And I would reccomend power klaws on nobs in boy units when available. And boarding planks are very underrated.
(I am assuming you ment killkannon)The kannon battlewagon is kinda out of place, it kills infantry very well but so does the rest of your list. It's shorter range brings it up the field which at the same time mitigates it's survivable aspects (front 14 but side 12). Looted wagons are not nearly reliable or survivable but dirt cheap and a better strength on its boomgun.

Right looking at the response i've made a few changes. First i've consolidated the deffkoptas into a single group of 5, which should still offer a credible anti-armour unit. The warboss has been given a bike now, so now he and wazdakka are riding with the rest of the ork warbikes. The ard boyz squads have been demoted to regular boyz but they have both been given nobs with power klaws and their trukks have been upgraded with boarding planks. The nobz squad has been upgraded to all have powerklaws, except the painboy of course, but their battlewagon has been stripped of its deffrolla. The kannon battlewagon, it was just a kannon (not a killcannon), has been removed so i now have no heavy support. Finally the lootas have been increased to 15 with no meks present and will niw have to rely of cover to stay alive.
This sounding any better?

You might not need to have klaws on everyone in the nob squad. But I like the other changes.

The list seems a little unfocused to me. You're taking Wasdakka but only taking two small units of bikes. In fact, all your troop choices are terribly small for an ork player. If I were playing against you, I'd blow up those trucks and shoot away your bikes and leave you without scoring units by the end of turn two. The funny thing with orks is that because of all their random elements, they work best with redundancy. Big boy squads with 1 claw each, 2 units of 15 lootas, three 4 man kopta squads that your enemy doesn't know who to target first. Anyway, I see this list going one of two ways, either a biker army, or a regular speed freaks army. With using Wazdakka, utile his ability to make bikes troops (plenty of dakka, high mobility, righteous cover saves). How about something like this...
Wazdakka
Warboss on bike with claw, squig, combi)
2 units of 4 nob bikers with 1 claw, banner, big choppa, and pain boy each, these are your HQ bodyguards
3 units of 9 bikes with nob, bosspole, claw
dakkajet with extra supa shoota and ace
3 units of 3 kannons with three ammo runts and an extra crew or two (could also replace with rokkit wartraks)
If you want to do a more conventional speed freaks list, you could still field wazdakka with a nob biker bodyguard or stick him with 12 regular bikers, but it might not be the best idea. What IS the best idea is to take a mek with a KFF to give your battlewagons cover. For this list you might consider...
Warboss on bike (same set-up as above)
Mek with KFF
1 unit of 8 nob bikers, full wound allocation, at least 2 claws, painboy, banner, you get it (warboss bodyguard)
3 full boy squads (except 1 with 19, which is where the mek goes) inside 3 battlewagons (riggers, rams, keep them cheep, and if you want to beef them up, or beef up anything in the army, just drop a biker nob or 2)
2 units of 5 deffcoptas w. rokkits, maybe 1 with buzzsaw
1 dakkajet with extra shoota and ace
And screw it, for good ol orky fun, especially if youre not trying to make the most competitive list, throw in a trukk with burnas or flash gitz or even shoota boys with a big shoota, just as something small that your opponent wont immediately target but would be fun to do silly drive byes with, just a suggestion.
