Hey guys,

since the regular Transcendent C'tan model is kinda hard to get (unless you buy the huge thing around it too...) and even difficult to find on ebay and sorts, I decided to go search for a different model and wondered if fellow forum users would be willing to help me out. My search has mostly narrowed down to these two models:

I still wonder who would be the better pick and would just appreciate some input why you think they would make a better model, or not, especially from a fluff perspective (TruCron fluff, though, not the 5th codex one).

I've also wondered about this one, anyone with actual experience on it? I fear it looking kinda goofy:

Feel free to come up with different ideas too if you just happen to have an awesome alternative model idea at hand!

Regards,

Sigvatr

The two former definitely look better.

Both are decent to me.

I was looking into this before my wife got me the big box lastr Xmas.

I'm not sure how big these figures are, but I think these would be pretty cool (if you don't mind a female ghosty)

These were found by searching for "reaper banshee" on ebay.

Problem is they are really quite small in comparison

The Banshees, or the models the OP posted?

The thing about C'tan, either standard or Transcendant is they can look however you want them to. they are also larger models so my suggested starting point would be looking at what you can get in 54mm scale

look at andrea miniatures, reaper miniatures or Kingdom death for some great looking miniatures

Thanks for the input so far guys!

Keep in mind that the Transcendent C'tan is much, much smaller than a regular C'tan, in fact, the model is even smaller than a Wraith! It's a huge plus because it can easily hide everywhere on the battlefield

LMFAO. True Cron Fluff? Then why the hell are you not using True Cron Minis?

No matter what you do now, you have a False Cron army now.

And just in case nobody gets it, I put a smiley on, since a lot of people seem to miss it. I am joking.

I was going to say anything from Cryx from Privateer Press would make good Necrons.

Not really, depending on what you mean by "regular C'Tan ". The Transcendent C'Tan model is the same size roughly as the C'Tan Shard models.

The Transcendent C'Tan is usually propped up an inch or more by one of those clear bases.

So make him an inch taller off the ground in your imagination (or don't!!)
