Just recently moved from Ft. Campbell to JBLM with the wife (that's Joint Base Lewis McChord) and now I'm looking for a good shop to visit every so often. I really don't play 40k any more (unless its a 5th edition "classic" game), but I do play Malifaux, Warmachine, Helldorado, and DnD... so a shop that has most or all of those would be awesome, but so far my internet searches havent really produced much in the way of promising results.

Have you tried The Game Matrix? I just started school in that area and checked out the store last week, seems pretty cool. I have heard of them before and I know they have been around a looong while so im sure they have a strong community.

I just started collecting 40k, but am looking to get into warmachine. if you have found another FLGS let me know (besides the local GW).

Edit: Oh and Hi. Registered after finding this thread via google. Definitely would like to get involved in some local gaming communities, never actually played any of these games before (even though my army is getting pretty sizable)

Yeah, been into Game Matrix a couple times. Seems like a good place to get stuff, but not sure about actual gaming in the store.

As for Warmachine, there's a shop closer to me called Nerdy Stuffs on Pacific (Hwy 7) whose only TT game that they carry at the moment is Warmachine/hordes. In talking to them, this is partially because theyve only recently started into the TT/models scene and they chose Warmahordes because one of the gals in there's fiances is a sculptor at PP, and theyre wanting to support the local guys.
