Hi all, Today I was inspired to make a very special army list using the current approach of Minidexes, expansions and Fortifications to create a rather fun exercise in absurdity. While I am sure that the list has some very clear weaknesses, it boasts considerable firepower and I think it would be stronger than given credit for. The list uses Inquisition as Primary, Militarum as Secondary and makes use of the Stronghold book. Ordo Xenos Inquisitor- Conversion Beamer, 3 Servo Skulls Ordo Xenos Inquisitor- Conversion Beamer, 2 Servo Skulls Henchmen- 2 Warriors, Crusader Henchmen- 2 Warriors, Crusader Henchmen- 2 Warriors, Crusader Commissar Veteran Squad Deathstrike Missile Launcher Wall of Martyrs Defence Network: Wall of Martyrs Imperial Bunker- Icarus Wall of Martyrs Imperial Bunker- Quad-Gun Wall of Martyrs Imperial Bunker- Quad-Gun Wall of Martyrs Firestorm Redoubt- 2 Battle Cannons, Quad Gun Wall of Martyrs Firestorm Redoubt- 2 Battle Cannons, Quad Gun Wall of Martyrs Vengeance Weapon Battery- 2 Quad-Lascannons Wall of Martyrs Vengeance Weapon Battery- 2 Battle Cannons Wall of Martyrs Imperial Defence Line Wall of Martyrs Imperial Defence Emplacement 1749/1750pts As far as I can see, the above is a fully legal army under the current rules. The Inquisitors both hang out in a bunker to spew out Conversion Templates. The Quad and Icarus guns are manned by the Commissar, Veterans and Henchmen. The rest of the guns operate under Automated Fire and use the Servo Skulls to assist with aiming. The Deathstrike finds a nice shady spot to hide away until he can get a shot in. In terms of firepower: 6 Battlecannons, 4 TL Lascannons, 4 Quad Guns, 2 Conversion Beamers and an Icarus. A healthy mix of Ordnance, AP2 and anti-Flier kit. Plus the Deathstrike as a finisher to something troublesome. So ignoring the obvious problem of actually transporting this much terrain, is this workable as an army concept?
