so I have the ghostwarrior army, and want to take advantage of the dataslate rules (wraithbone wall, hatred) since I don't have serpents

I understand that I could not use the wraithknight as my warlord as it is separate from the primary detachment so one of my seers would need to be the warlord. However, with taking a spiritseer, would the dataslate wraithguard be counted as troops rather than elite, or do I forego that rule since it is a separate detachment?
