Hi guys! just got back into 40k, after quiet sometime. Mainly been focusing on Fantasy. I ordered a bunch of stuff, and really want to get my fist army going.

First a word on list formats: Dakka rules prohibit listing individual point values, just give squad totals. And you can also trim out all the extra rules and such, they make it hard to sift through lists to figure out exactly what you have.

Where is Lysander going? Who’s in the LR? The basic LR only has a capacity of 5 terminators, so if you want him leading the assault termis, you’ll need to swap to a LRC/LRR. Not that that’s a bad thing, just something you will need to do. If you are going to have Lysander tank wounds for the cents, that also works. Bit of a waste of his CC prowess, but takes good advantage of his tanking ability.

Rather then take all your tac squads the same, I’d mix them up a bit. This would be a good spot to stick some melta. I might also hand out combis to your sarges.

Not a bad looking list. A little light on anti-tank IMHO, but you seem to have your bases pretty well covered. Should do fine against most casual lists.

Im going to second that about the points costs to make sure you get it. Edit your post and get rid of those.

IDK how you loyalists do it, but in chaos we would never take heavy weapons in tactical squads. We always double out special weapons, usually two plasma guns or two melta guns. A HB is a bad idea generally because you will be moving so you'll be snap firing it. If you really want HBs take a dev squad

I feel you lack anti-tank. I'd throw two melta guns on each tact squad.

Hahah thank you both for that, I used a program on my phone to write up the list, and just copy pasted it all sorry about that. In regards, to my plan with lysander, not really sure. I just threw together a bunch of stuff, that sempt cool. I wanted to focus mainly on shooting, but wanted some hard hitters for Close combat still.

Does anyone have anymore input? would love some more
