I've been wanting to play an ordo xenos force (radical of course) working with my DE for years, since before that was even possible. I've recently come up witha n army I think is workable, using Eldar as "glue" so that both my DE and OX forces can score. Please critique this list. I'm particularly concerned about whether I have enough scoring, I technically have 6 scoring units, but some are fragile and some get into the fighting so am not sure if there are enough. Any thoughts on that or suggestions of forces I am likely to have trouble with.
Primary Eldar
Allied Dark Eldar
Inquisitorial
HQ
Farseer, Bike, Spear
Absdruael Vect
Inquisitor Coteaz
Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, Power Armour, Combi Flamer, Force Sword, Liber Hersius, Psychotrokes, Rads, 3x Servo Skull, Hammerhand (Warlord)
Troops
3 Windriders
3 Windriders
5 Witches, Haywire Greandes
Venom, 2 splinter Cannon, Nightshield
5 Witches, Haywire Greandes
Venom, 2 splinter Cannon, Nightshield
Elites
3 Acolytes w/ Laspistol + CCW, 2 Crusader, 3 Ministorum Priest w/ 2 CCW, 1 Ministorum Priest w/ CCW + Power Maul
Land Raider Crusader, Psybolt Ammunition, Multimelta
3 Acolytes w/ Laspistol + CCW
Fast Attack
6 Reaver Jetbikes, 2 Cluster Caltrops, 2 Heat Lances
Heavy Support
Ravager, Nightshield
The plan is to go first and push the (scouting) landraider full of inquisitorial goodness right up into the enemy lines, shoot enemy infantry with twin linked splinter fire and caltrop units with the bikes. From there the plan develops depending on how well the enemy weathered the first strike. The Inquisition move to eliminate hard targets in combat, whilst the venoms take care of softer units. Against tough vehicular opponents the ravager, meltas and Wyches haywire grenades are brought to bear.

I can't speak of Deldar or Eldar, but your Inquisition detachment needs a little minor tweaking. Not much.
Mainly my question is, why all the ranged upgrades and models? They don't hurt, but they really aren't helping much either. 5 Assassins, 3-4 Crusaders, and 3-4 Priests will utterly vaporise anything in Close Combat that doesn't have a 2+ save. The Acolytes function as Body Shields, sure, but your Crusaders do that better. You're better off not paying 30+ points for two Plasma shots.

Well, the Deldar looks OK, though you have crappy AA and little At from shooting. For the henchmen never take shooting upgrades, unless they are in a rhino or chimera and shoot. You should be taking both inquisitors with DCA and crusaders in a ratio of 2:1 also priests are OK but unless your fighting daemons i'm not a huge fan.
Lastly as weapons for your DCA and crusaders take power mauls and for DCA power swords/axes.

Depending on the updatedness of your codex, DCA and Crusaders sometimes say Power Swords. I didn't mention that because it's a whole new can of worms...
But why are Priests only mediocre? Fearless, Hatred, and rerolls either to wound or to save, or some S8 goodness if you buy a Maul. With 4 Priests, his Inquisitor, and good dice you've got rerolls to hit, wound, and save on the charge against -1 T enemies, with +1 S on everyone, plus 6 S10 AP2 attacks.

The inquisition doesn't really need DCA, especially as they can only have Power Swords in the Inquisition dex. That unit has a ton of attacks at decent strength whilst dropping the enemies toughness, the Maul priests with Hammerhand can hit St 10 with 3 attacks each on the charge, rerolling hits, rerolling wounds and rerolling saves.
The plasma pistols were really just something I put in as I had some points left, its a very good point that they are a waste and will change them round for something else.
My plan for aircraft is to just ignore them really.
Ranged anti tank is something of a concern, but with a ravager (twin linked if necessary and a twin linked (coteaz prescience) multi melta I can blow up at least one tank a turn. Any particularly hard targets are what the Haywires are for. I will think of a way to crowbar in some more AT .
The cheap little acolytes are actually pretty effective 3 attacks each on the charge at St4, re rolling hits and wounds is not bad for 4 points.
I've made a couple of alterations. Do you think it would be better to put the 3 lone acolytes in with the big squad? Gives me one less scoring unit, but stuffs 3 more wounds into that thing.
Thanks for the comments.
