One Day a Triarch Stalker box emerged at my door, knowing it's capability in games it was snatched up and unboxed. As the model became cut from its frame and the super glue began to flow from bit to bit, it started to take form in the single limbs. As the limbs became set and prepared, the main body and driver's station also began to take form, the driver being cut and began to become glued. At one point the driver of the Stalker nearly became a flayed one, until removing my finger in time from the torso and glue.
After many hours of gluing and positioning, the model had finally being ready to be sprayed.
Once it was ready to be sprayed, it was taken to the garage to be spray painted over in Abaddon Black (Chaos Black). After an hour of spraying, drying time of Triarch Stalker & regaining balance / senses again, It was ready to began to be painted and highlighted.

Alright, you won me over with such an original way to document your blog. Let me get comfy.

Next part coming tonight or tomorrow depending how quickly I can get parts painted and ready to be seen
Automatically Appended Next Post: After the evening began and just as it ended, the lonely Stalker's front legs were complete, fully highlighted along the edges carefully and the other sections required the same painting detail also completed. Here is the end result of the front legs of this lonely Stalker.
Once the front legs were complete, it was time to begin work on the lonely driver of the Triarch Stalker, and after an impaled thumb (my own not models) and a few moments later, this was the product that was given with the basic dry brush.
After the dry brushing, my thumb decided to give a painful message. But before answering to the pain, managed to paint the main body's main feature of the orb located in the central. Here is how it looked after two coats of the same red used on the highlighting.
Once this orb was completed, had to retire for the evening due to the pain in my thumb distracting from painting.

Another day as passed and more of the lonely Triarch Stalker has being painted, prepared for its final gluing session in roughly a days time.
After a few minutes of painting, the Stalker's driver had finally seen the painted side of its lifetime
Once the driver was done, Decided to move onto his seat. Focusing upon the edges and orbs first, it was a few moments (what felt like moments at least) before they began to show colour more then the base coat.
When turned to see the driver's view point, I had noticed his controls were all switched off (unpainted). So in an act to allow the Stalker to move, decided to liven them up and make them active.
As the controls sparked to life, I thought "now is the time to focus back onto the legs", so I moved the middle set of legs onto my work area and began to highlight, without missing an single edge unmarked.
After completing the middle set of legs, decided to call it for a day, allowing myself to look at what i had done for today, in amazement that did not mess up the edging highlighting.

So today decided to focus on the main weapon of this lonely Triarch Stalker... the heat ray.
After a long day of small breaks and painting sessions, finally managed to complete the ray and here for you fellow readers and Dakka members, is the final result of the heat ray.
To show how the unsuspecting foe staggering in front of it would see, here is their point of view.
Last but not least of the heat ray, is the main section that generates all the heat to spray or shoot out in a single strong beam.
Once this section was done, decided to call it a day after so much focus being put into it, preparing myself for the grand final hours during tomorrow to complete & build the lonely Triarch Stalker.
So stick around for the final post of this Blog of the Lonely Triarch Stalker...
To Be Concluded Tomorrow...

After the long weekend, the parts are in place, the paints are set on the model sections and it is time to glue them together.
After an hour of waiting for each section of the Stalker to set, the model had now finally taken shape. All that remains to be attached is the front legs and the tiny mandibles but for you all, the Triarch Stalker's half born...
After another half hour of gluing, positioning and swearing, the legs and mandible were now in place.
So ladies and gentlemen reading this blog, the day and time has arrived of the grand birth of the Lonely Triarch Stalker to finally emerge into the light of day and the moon of night!
Thank you ladies and gentlemen for following this Blog of the Lonely Triarch Stalker... for all those who feel sorry for this Necron dreadnought, he will be gaining some friends for our next Blog thread in the next few days or weeks time!

Excellent end result in such a short time I like how you decided to paint his head white, it makes him look more unique and it's a nice break from all the black / red.

Usually only give models a white face mask if they are elites or squad leaders of a group to give them a look that breaks away from the others, plus showing they are a Veteran of their role
Next Blog will be emerging sometime this week or early next as got to finish up some CSM models got still to do It will be another Necron one so friends for the Stalker

Dark colours are not easy to paint right, black can be one of hardest!
Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.
FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
That is true, black and overwhelm a colour or be painted over easily so no middle ground with it lol

And the layers, once you have painted it black, precise details can be lost, its not easy to put some colours over it, aka white or weaker pigments

That is the bigger pain of it for much larger scale models with black main base paint.
But think managed to pull it off without ruining the black sections with the red highlights and such other areas
