Not much to say, this is propably the best kind of list you can do with BA.

Massed high-AV is the way to go right now.

Why don't you ditch the SP's since they won't do much inside the tanks and get a scout squad or something else that can score? 3 scoring units won't get you that far, even if they are in LR's

Your list is currently breaking the rules of the forum. Drop those individual point costs. Totals for a unit are fine but anything more could get both you and dakka in trouble.

this list either works amazingly or fails horribly..... it's probably one of the most glass hammer lists i've seen in a while

if the land raiders go you're dead in the water, foot slogging asm are terrible even with fnp.

probably worth while putting in a d.co squad in one of the raiders instead dropping the need for a 3rd priest and a squad of 5 with 2 power weapons somewhere around half the points of the asm squad will probably kill alot more...

(mebbe with the left over points add a d.co dread (with lc) in one of the storm ravens they're always fun against 10+ man squads)

Land Raiders = glass cannon

Never heard that comparison before. Well, first time for everything

3 vehicles being the bulk of your army is a glass hammer...

necrons, eldar, dark eldar, nids, chaos, ig ect. all can have either enough high str, melta or special rules to stop 3 targets regardless of their high AV.... i just think relying on your very expensive high AV is either gonna work extremely well or fail horribly hence glass hammer (not sure if you understand what i meant by glass hammer)

easiest teams to beat are ones which you can pick off 1 at a time... 5-6 threats make your opponent think alot harder about each shot....

again my opinion take it or leave it

I do understand the term.
But as I said (not sure if you understand what I mean by saying that): I've never heard that comparison before.

P.S. Glass hammers are concidered fragile. And even tough there are armies with good AT options, such as Eldar with Lance weaponry, I wouldn't call Land Raiders weak by any means.

well actually a glass hammer is made in such a way that it is strong in the necessary places and if hit precisely at the right place it will function liek a normal hammer.... the difference is that being glass if a fracture occurs anywhere other than it's "sweet spot" it shatters...

your 3 land raiders are exactly the same... 2 average rolled melta shots or mass las and the game is over on turn 1....... no melta and the opponent is based with max s7/8 (not melta) and you act like a hammer of god......

like i said it'll either go extremely well or horribly wrong... there's no in between with such an elitist list

Yeah, I try to stay away from LR lists because of the threat of meltas.

yea with the amount of anti high av in todays 40k it's so risky playing with a 250 point metal box...

again my opinion, i'd be keen tho to see how much success you get with this list.
