I can't seem to get the risen to fit in their bases. They're little tabs are too thin. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Get your clippers and twist the tab ever so slightly (a sort of shallow S shape). It should fit in a bit more snugly without any need for green stuffing or other such things.

You can do the same thing with just making then a flat V shape.

Or put greenstuff or clay in the slot then push the model into it.

Or cut off the tab completely and simply glue them to the base. If you are concerned they might snap off then pin them. Though I have done this with countless small based models and have had zero issues.
