Still saddened with the mia marbo,he was just fun to field,,,anyways I digress

now I am shooting for 2000pts

I have 122 left

from this point I am not sure what I want or need,,,perhaps a conscript squad with a commisar and priest,leaving me 12pts,,,,if I go this route I would coll the 2 extra snipers into a 3rd squad,using one to man the quad gun,the other two to set up and pester/annoy with.

so any thoughts or suggestions would be cool,just bare in mind that for this army i do not use tanks,well minus the counts as wyverns,which I have to convert from my field battery griffon/basilisks.
which brings me to my other sticking point,i could just roll the 122 into fielding 2 basilisks instead,but the reroll hitting and wounding combined with 4 small pie plates is just so tempting.

Ok had to do abit of a rewrite as I double checked my points and forgot to add in the second demo charge swt,woops,anyways I also switched some things around and added other things

My basic plan is thus

the basic commisars sit back with the HWT's keeping them from legging it,would have added a forth but had to drop the 3rd IP and roll it into the 2nd one via a swt and conscripts,,,,,
The lord Commisar,and the swt's with the flamer and melta/sniper rifle will mob up with the conscripts,staying close enough to feed off the 6 inch command radius.

The 3 priests will join the other SWT's
all forming my forward moving force
along with the 2 pcs's

the 4 IS's with the autocannons will hold back,either filling gaps in my line or for latter game pushes for objectives or what not.

The ratlings/snipers will man the quad gun

the lascannon batteries will line up along the ADL

The CCS will hold back,outta the way,issuing orders and hopefully puppetmastering big nasty things.

and Finally my rough riders,while I had to knock 1 off each squadron,it still gives me 29 attacks on the charge for each squadron.

now I have 23 points to play with,I could either add more conscripts,buff up my lord commisar,or hq via an officer of the fleet,not sure there.


But so far I have
4 big pie plates
8 rerollable small pie plates
12 lascannons
8 autocannons
and 168 wounds/troopers

Why not just use your lord commisar on the quad gun and around the lascannon teams and avoid the other commissars all together.

those "4 big pie plates" are going to be very unreliable, slogging all the way across the board hoping to stay alive.

I also dont think you can join SWTs with conscripts.

Well the two SWT's I mentioned are not offically going to join the conscript squad per say,but will be close enough to support it and draw off the lord commisars radius.

As to the 4 demo chargers,I have found that most people really dont notice them,or are ready for them.
