And looking for a game of 40k, necromunda, battlefleet gothic, any Fantasy Flight RPG's (I used to DM a bit)....
I know of a shop with tables in norwich that I've used and heard about a club in lowestoft.
I field a csm and a DkoK force. Looking for mainly causal gaming but also more competitive and maybe a narrative campaign..if you still fancy playing after my IG (sorry astra militarum...) curb stomp you
Cheers and gone.

Welcome to the deadzone

Far as I know there are GW stores in Norfolk and Ipswich with active player bases though i've only played in the Ipswich one its not too far from the train station in the main highstreet. They have their gameday on Thursdays.

There's also a club that meets once every two weeks in Ipswich though I've yet to check that one out.

There is also a club that runs in Beccles that I went to a few years back, small but a good club. Give the Beccles toy-shop a phone call for details (the club isn't run by them but the stores does sell GW models and they generally know the time and night that the club runs).

Thanks for your help! I've heard of this mythic beccles gaming club and will have to check it out...save me waiting for my regular trips back to london or cornwall to have games. cheers!

Ipswich

There used to be a club in Hadleigh too, at the library... And I'm sure there are some in Ipswich, although I have no idea where...I'd be interested to know of more though, being in Ipswich myself.

As you were msg'ing last night I was playing a game in norwich in Iceni wargames. Bit far for you maybe (hr on the train?? Or shorter) but it's there!!! If you have a saturday and don't mind travelling I would give you a game. (it may be too far but I'm from cornwall so travelling from ipswich to norwich on the fast train doesn't bother me!)

Yeah Norwich is a bit far for me, if I could drive I wouldn't mind!

There is a train but it's 16quid return and takes 40mins to get there! That's some serious ebay money! If there is somewhere in ipswich that runs a table on a saturday I'd give you a game I'm going to investigate and will find somewhere- I won't play in a gw cos my army is hardly legal with other mini's in it (renegade, perry, the assault group_.

There's loads of clubs in the area, check the UK games club thread.

It's £13 return for me on the train to Ipswich and its a solid hour to get there that way (sadly not much difference over taking the car considering the parking prices in the town and fuel) - so I know your pain on travel and costs :(.

There is an Ipswich group that meets twice a month on the weekend; not looked into it as yet but it seems to be quite active.

They've a website here: http://s4.zetaboards.com/Legion_Wargames_Club/index/

That one is quite close to my house by the looks of things, maybe I'll drop by one day, when I've actually painted up my tyranids!
