Playing a tournament soon. Was thinking that this will be a good army. Any obvious weaknesses other then flyers? (Planning to ignore them if they are over AV 10).

I am on the fence on which Wratihlord to use, if I switch for Heavy Wraith Cannons I can make one extra guardian unit in to Wraithguards or field in a unit og Rangers or GJB.

Well your AA isn't to bad, it would be a lot better with a hunter but W/E.

I would drop the WK down to normal load out, every time i use sun cannons it never makes its points back, at least in CC it wreaks face, and plus with the 60pts you can do a lot.

Next I would drop all the SC from serpents, and the platforms from the guardians and now you have 130(?)pts for a farseer on bike, and spirit stone of anath'an for the spiritseer.

Now you can get stuff done.

Hmm agreed. They are playing BAO rules on the tournament so I will need a lot of scoring units. But a Jetseer would be welcome, and make a good booster for Knight and Hornets.

My main issue with my WK is that he is the Warlord. The Inv save makes him a lot more surviveable.

You have Plenty of AA between the Serpents, and the Hornets.

Personally i would swap the Wraithguard for 5 Dire Avengers and use the 95 points for another Hornet with the same upgrades as the others. Next I would drop the Wraithknight down to the stock loadout. Youll have plenty of ranged AP 2 between the Hornets, and all the Shuriken weapons. Also, S10 with Instant Death on 6 at 36" is pretty great against enemy MCs. We are up to 60 extra points extra now. The Shuriken Cannon platform can go next; you have plenty of that already with 30 Guardians. Make it a Bright Lance instead. With the 55 extra points you now have, I would drop the Spiritseer for a Farseer on a Jetbike and stick him with the GJB You can now Guide the Hornets, Prescience the Wraithknight, and cast whatever 3rd "bonus" power you get as needed. You now have 10 Points left over for whatever suits your fancy.

Thank you for the response. I might consider this. But then I would split the Hornets maybe? 12 s 8 ap 2 Shots in one unit is a litte overkill.

Well, if they are all in the same unit you can guide them all at once, plus using them as AA means you get that job done just as well, same goes with shooting at Wk or riptides.

My fear is that I will lack a reliable scoring unit for relic if I remove WG and I will lack som ability to ID units with T5 and Tyranids.

That is true, but cons for using one single is giving it Ghost Walk matrix and putting it in terrain for the last 10 pts and then use it to shot other stuff / score in 2 scenarios in Bay Area Open rules.

Not really. To get any cover save all you have to do is a have a toe in terrain, and boom 4+ or 5+ cover.

I like squading up my Hornets. It allows me to guide them all, move 36" (12+24 flat out) and still shoot snapshots, via their special rule. This excellent for hunting rear AV on fliers, as you would be snap shooting anyway. With guide you will average 3-4 hits on the rear arc!

Yeah, keep the Wraithknight with the stock loadout.

I'd split the jetbikes into two 3 man units, and find the points to upgrade the Spiritseer to a Farseer w/ Jetbike+Mantle. This means he can be outside a transport and popping blessings all over the place (like the hornets and knight, who are prime targets for guide). You can deal with the wraithguard not being troops, as you've already got 4 scoring units.

Keeps the serpents as they are, it's by far the most effective loadout.

I'd like to see you find the points to change that guardian cannon to another bright lance. Just because my OCD flares up when I see it.
