This is a 1750 list that I came up with....wondering what you guys think about the viability of the warriors versus a tervigon and 30 gants. I think with the venomthrope's cover save they should be sitting on a 2+ most of the time and are a low enough priority threat that they should be mostly ignored early on. Plus, a tervigon would cost more, leading to 1 less crone at this point value. In any case, battle reports should be forthcoming within a couple weeks. Just need to get a couple more models up and running.

Seems like a pretty straightforward list. I would worry about the opponent just focusing on killing your troops, as most tourneys have most of their missions objective based. The gargoyles with definitely help with that, but I would be worried...
Not the list I would play for a tournament, but it can definitely be strong if played well.

I agree, I look at this and think "bare bones Skyblight". Part of its strength is at the lower points level, it will be very hard for other armies to have good answers for this force. While you are vulnrible to Troop hunting, your special rule(s) speak directly to this. Each time a Brood gets wiped out it gets a chance to come back

Given that the gargoyles have a 50/50 chance to regen indefinitely and the warriors are in backfield cover, I would be relatively surprised if any list could effectively ignore the other looming threats long enough to deal with the troops completely. It's something that I'll have to play test, certainly, but I don't know if there really is a more competitive option for Nids at this point value. I'd be interested to know what some might be if you guys think that there are, however.

Looks solid. Ive always used the skyshield but I can see bastion is effective to expand the venomthrope's shrouding.

I like the extra synapse from the warriors and reserving some of your scoring is a good option imo.

As a guard player, I can say this list is devastating! I fought against it last week, and I was running tons of anti flyer support and still could not bring it down. I was able to wipe all but 1 squad of gargoyles, but I was about to be wiped at turn 4 from all of the freaking flyers!
