Is anyone still playing Warhammer 40K in Columbia, South Carolina? If so, where?

Are there tournaments or gaming events in Columbia or elsewhere in the state?

Are there any clubs playing in the state? I have heard that the game is still alive in Greenville.

I lived there a while back and there was a store called Heroes and Dragons in Columbia, is it not there anymore?

There was a 40k tourney in Greenville that just happened last week, posted in the tourney section:

Game is very much alive in Greenville. We have a GW on Woodruff Rd and a Gaming store on Laurens road that is one of the best in the region. Also gaming in tons of surrounding areas such as Greer, Atlanta, Ga and Charlotte, NC.

@Steve,

Thanks, I actually PMed that guy not long after he posted but he never replied.

The tournament thread for Greer is very useful. Some of the respondents are guys that play in Columbia, which inspires hope.

@FenrisianStuart,

Thanks, I will have to make it up to Greenville (since my brother lives there) and drop in at the local FLGS. I have heard really good things about that store.

My wife and I first learned of 40k at Heros and Dragons, it wasnt 3 years later until we started though.

All I remember is that it was near a strip club we went to.

Is anyone playing on Saturdays at Heroes and Dragons? Are there any other places?
