So this Sunday ill be playing in my first ever 40K tourney at my local club. Ill post my list here with my general tactic, if anyone could offer any advice it would be most welcome.

It's 1850 points, no allies, FW, escalation or stronghold stuffs. Also no fortifications. Out of the 12 armies I know of at least 3 of them will be Eldar.
Missions are going to be objective heavy (at least 5) by the looks of it.

HQ (400 Points)

Trazyn the Infinite

Royal Court

Destro-tek
Eternity-tek- Chrono and Cloak
2x Necron Lord with WS and MSS

Elites (325 Points)

5x Lychguard with Hyperspace Swords and Dispersion Shields
Night Scythe (Eternity-tek and Trazyn go here as well)

Troops (738 Points)

5x Immortals (Hiding in the back on or around an objective)

8x Warriors
Ghost Ark (Destro-tek in here as open topped can fire 36" AP2 Str 8 shot)

9x Warriors
Night Scythe ( Necron Lord with WS and MSS goes here. Ideally this will be a turn 5 drop on the objective to take/contest)

9x Warriors
Night Scythe ( Necron Lord with WS and MSS goes here. Ideally this will be a turn 5 drop on the objective to take/contest)

Fast Attack (115 Points)

3x Wraith with 1 having whip coils ( Everyone seems to hate these guys, 6 (2 each) wounds with 3+ invul saves, they are a good distraction but that's about it)

Heavy Support (270 Points)

3x Annihilation Barge (These things are 90 points of fun, twin linked and each 6 gives you two extra hits, str 7. In my last game I popped a helldrake with one of these.

The Plan

Anni Barges, Ghost Ark, Wraiths and Immortals to deploy initially. Immortals sit back and hide. Barges, Ark and Wraiths move forward and blow stuff up although I will have to be carful with the Barges on the big guns never tire mission, as long as I keep them moving I get a jink save I think and they are AV13 till penned.
Any flyers that come on early will arrive, take a shot and move off the table next turn, idea being to have them come back on during turn 5 to take/contest objectives.

So what do you think?

I have a lot of success saturating my opponent with 3 squads of 6 Canoptek Wraiths each. They form sheets of flypaper and bog down any enemy advance.

Flank Annihilation Barges make a great AA unit ... move cruising speed, snapfire the STR 6 gun and the TL STR 7 Tesla guns for THREE hits for each and every 6 rolled or re-rolled, and get AV 13 for under a hundred points?

. Trazyn is an excellent HQ because he comes back darn near every time. He allows 3 Immortal squads to become 4 scoring troop choices.

Some people swear by blobs of Warriors and Immortals. I swear by 6 man Immortal units each composed of 5 tesla gunners and 1 stormtek. Night Scythe them in to Voltaic Staff range and watch the fun as armor disintegrates.

Never really used Court Lords. How have they worked for oyu previously>

Seems like a fun list, but unfortunately, lychguard are just not that good. They are a lot of points and because they can do real damage in combat they will get shot at quite a bit, even if taken by nightscythe.
I would almost recommend dropping the lord and giving a cryptek with an upgrade if you want late game objective grabbing because if it is late game you will not really need to get into combat and necron warriors are generally better at shooting than assaulting.

whip coils are great, you should put them on all of your wraiths, though 3 seems too little to do much. Also, if the Immortals are just going to hide, why don't you get some warriors instead and spend the points else where? Also, the lychguards are super expensive. they cost more then 3 warriors each.
