Looking for a future group of chilled like minded 40K casual players surrounding the Langley AFB, VA area. I mostly play for a casual fluff/competitive environment and have all the tools to set up in the garage w/a fully decked out MegaMat and custom terrain. You may also be interested in Jerseys, a FLGS with quite a few 40K players. We run a free league (15% discount on GW stuff while you play in it) and some tournaments, with friendly games mixed in. Not far from Langley, it's off of Rt 17 in Grafton, so about 15-20 minutes away.

Cool. I've lived in the Langley area for 15 years as a kid before the military and know exactly where you are talking about. Close to Ft Eutis? I think I shopped there during a holiday couple of years ago

It used to be there, but moved about a year back. Now it's in a much nicer place just across from the Grafton Middle/High school, with more windows and a lot more room inside.

Cool. So I stopped by Jersey's across from Grafton High School and met some folks there. The employee on shift was a female but I didn't catch her name. I'm looking forward to gaming with you guys

Langley AFB peeps....I will most likely be living in Base Housing down on Big Bethel Rd and would love to get some games in garage going. I have all the materials needed to play including a MegaMat and Custom Terrian. Let me know if you live and are interested in playing in base housing!

Update!

First, I would like to point out the lovely staff at Jerseys! Called and asked one of the employees to hold a Stormclaw Boxset for me when I arrive to the Yorktown Area. The guy on the phone said it wouldnt be a problem...I'm surprised because I'm still in England for another 7 days! Sounds like I picked an awesome LGS

Secondly, I successfully got my 2 & 1/2 armies out of England in my Unaccompanied Housing Goods shipment. Hopefully that crate will arrive safely and on time around the 15th of August. I still plan on stopping by Jerseys a couple of times to meet folks and get to know my group.

Lastly, for those that are interested in the garage games....I was offered base housing and accepted it. Very nice house with a very nice garage. I will be moving in on the 14th of August but won't have much to put in the place as it'll be coming across the ocean :/. Garage games will probably have to wait until September timeframe.

I'm a little south in Norfolk and never been to Jerseys, but I'm up for games just about anywhere. Provided it doesn't involve driving clear across the state all the time.
