So I am heading down to the shop tomorrow and there is a TFG that always runs the same list and I am rather tired of him stomping all the fun out of the store.
His list consists of:
Great unclean one all biomancy
Flying demon prince of nurgle, level 3 all biomancy
2 units of plague bearers
2 nurgle soul grinders
2 forgeworld blight drones
And now adding
Crimson slaughter sorcerer
Cultists
Heldrake
Oblits
( he ran a screamer star for a week until everyone refused to play against him)
The units I have available are
Sorcerer
Lord with jump pack
4x squads of noise marines, 2 blast masters, sonic blasters 10 strong
2x 5man raptor squads with double meltas
10 warp talons
Forgeworld fire raptor gunship
6 oblits
Aegis line
Giving everything the mark of slaneesh except the oblits (mark of nurgle is too good to pass up for them)
I was thinking of letting him deploy and go first, he flys his demon prince into my threat zone, I focus it down then work on the slower stuff. All the noise marines ignore cover. Give the sorcerer the divination artifact and hope for perfect timing. Pair him with the oblits and use them to bring down the soul grinders, then the GUO. Lord goes with warp talons to shred his troops apart.
Does anyone see any major holes with this plan?
