I'm thinking about getting it to play with a few friends who like some them some board game. I hear the rulebook is only about 20 pages and it sets up scenarios, but that's all i heard.
Is the game simple and easy to understand as well? My friends and I do not play tabletop games, but I just paint the models, would that end up being a deal breaker? Finally, Does the game have good replay value? or does it just get boring after you've played all the scenarios?
Thanks in advance
Cheers.

Recommend reading reviews like on observances for it. I played it one time and wasn't super impressed---and I'm generally a Mantic fan. If you've played space hulk it's similar but the aliens get to shoot back and also do some healthy reinforcing. Wasn't my favorite.

I wouldn't recommend it, Dwarf King's Hold is better.

Gives me a great reason to find a Shaun of the dead model. I'll be the envy of the town.

I have no idea where you could find such a miniature.

If you want Zombie survivors, there are few that seem better than the Wargames Factory set. Along with options for a Simon Pegg lookalike, you get another 30-oddd guys for dirt cheap, and with a TON of weapon options. http://wargamesfactory.com/webstore/dark-futures/apocalypse-survivors-men "you've got red on you..."

Zombicide season 2 has Shaun in it, actually. His name is Fred. He was a KS exclusive though, so he might be hard or expensive to track down.

Glad to help. It also reminds me I need to grab a box for myself at some point. I play 0 Zombie games, but there's so much potential and conversion fodder from the sprue pics.
