Hi folks, some of you might remember me posting up some photos of my wastrels in midnight theme colours. I have been really enjoying painting them. Though I have decided to paint the rest of my guild in the same theme but in a quicker fashion, so i can get some painted miniatures on the board.

With that in mind I picked up the lady justice box set and spent the weekend painting away. please mind the blue tack as I haven't managed to pick up some more bases yet.

Hope you all enjoy and any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here are the original models i painted in this theme

Dude! That is some fantastic work. Just the shading on the suit is insane,

My only suggestion and honestly the models are amazing the way they are, would be to hit the legs on the guys with the suits with some weathering powder to give them more of a "bond" with the bases.

I see the bases as all dusty and grimy I would think the legs of their paints would get some of that on them too.

Holy Crap!

When I first saw these models I was honestly hesitant but now I want to go out and buy these NOW!

How did you do the coats with the Marshall (coffin dudes... sorry been a while since I followed Malifaux)? was it with an airbrush or just amazing blending?

Thanks for posting these.

The coats on the marshals where simply 3 glazes of brown on top of the grey basecoat followed by 2 coats of a lighter brown also as a glaze for highlight. Its the placement thats more important with these miniatures, choosing what to leave grey and what to have colour makes it seem natural / organic which in the process I used to paint these was far more important than the execution of techniques.

The wastrels where however blended but still uses that concept of placement being the important factor.
