Seems neat enough. I'm usually down for a well put together sidescroller.
Is it available on the PC?

Looks way better than the other 40K mobile game that was floating around a couple months ago. That actually looks pretty neat. If it's on PC, I'll pick it up.

Agreed, on both counts.

Yeah. I'm not getting (and therefor not paying for) it until they port it to something that I don't need an emulator to play on.

I'm not sure why having Space Marine means you can't enjoy this one, one being a third person game and the other a platformer.
I think its more the "OH another space marine themed shooter" when they could easily have made it a tau, or a guardsmen or something. Hell an Aspect warrior would have been nice.

I don't think GW is mentally capable of authorizing a game that doesn't focus on Space Marines any more.
Would be nice.
But GW is too obsessed with the idea that the only way to make money is to make marines.

I think the curret game trend in general is to blame for that somewhat. we know already they have tunnel vission on a LOT of things, and seeing gsme markets dominated by Halo and Gears may just have them thinking slapping burly compensationally macho men with guns into the game will make it an autohit.

The centre of a massive brood chamber, heaving and pulsating.
Dat narrator. It's like 90s super-violent ultra-cheesinesss all over again! I'd almost buy an iOS device for this!
...Almost.

It's more "Oh yeah! Another Space Marine game! Oh wait, it's not a s cool as this OTHER Space Marine game" I just find Space Marine a lot more fun than I think I'd like this. Not a great fan of platformers on the best of days. This just looks like more of the same violent sidescrolling game to me.
Personally, I like platformers MORE than shooters.
Especially modern shooters, which tend to rip off CoD in the lamest of ways (thankfully, Space Marine did not).

I HATE CoD. But I love Space Marine. I don't play a whole lot of shooter and when I do I only play good ones. I've played Star Wars Battlefront 2, TF2 and Star Wars Republic commando, along with SM. I mostly play RPGs and Strategy games. The only sidescroller/plat former I like is a flash game called Plazma Burst 2. Although my brothe once bought this Power Rangers game that wasn't half bad

Oh! Oh! I know!
Someone should make a Guard game that is set up like "Prinny Can I Really Be the Hero?". i.e. you play one Guardsman at a time, and he's really really really squishy. But you have 1000 lives.

I've been playing it for the last couple of days, it's really quite good fun.
