This is a list for a team tourney - randomly assigned partners. I can assume that any partner I get will have more firepower and BS - even Tyranids - so I went with a fast HtH PK Killy army. BP = boss Pole, CB = cybork body, BC big choppa

Warboss on a BIke w/ PK, BP, CB
4 Biker Nobz and a painboy - all CB, banner, one with PK others BC

2 Rokkit buggies

BW w/ Deff and BS, riggers, RPJ, Boarding plank
20 shoota boys w/ Nob PK BP

12 turkk sluggas w/ nob PK BP
Trukk boarding plank

I figure the Warboss can take attention away from everything else as he plummets down the field - covering the BW.
the Buggies can shadow the trukk and all will move fast. My partner should be able to help out.
Other ideas or success stories for partnered tourneys?

Drop the Riggers on the BW and pick up RPJ for the Trukk. If you have the models for it, I'd suggest dropping the buggies in favor of DeffKoptas if you're looking to stay mobile and/or use your army as harassing units for your partner to deliver the knock out punches.

Thanks, I usually do not put riggers on a BW, but I only have the one. usually I have 3 or 4. I can change to TL RL Kopters. Anyone else like Kopters over buggies? I have plenty of both, just have always loved my buggies. Usually, my hierarchy of Fast Attack likes goes in this order (best to worst IMO):

DakkaJet > Deffkoptas > Warbikers (usually take a nob mob on bikes) > Other Ork Flyers (Bommers and Burnas) > Stormboyz > Warbuggies.

Warbuggies land last just because the 10 AV all around means that they're really easy to blow up, easier than the bikes and koptas right now. Stormboyz might move up on my list with the new codex if some of the rumors become true (like them being able to assault flyers). But for now, DakkaJets are my bread and butter. I field two of them every time and they've bailed me out of more tough spots than I can remember. I have pics of them on my blog (link in signature)

OK a revision - and i do not want to take a dakka jet, as they are not allowing rules from the Death from the Skies book, which sucks for Orks. We do not have flyers in our army list as of yet.

HQ - warboss warbike, CB, BP, PK

Troop - Biker Nobz - 4 with including Pain boy, CB 1 PK, Banner BCs - dropped one from original list
20 boys w/ nob PK BP Shootas
12 boys w/ nob PK BP in Trukk w/ Plank

Fast - one kopta TL RL and PK
one Kopta TL RL
one buggy - TL RL
i will compare the usefulness - I know that every strength weapon will hurt the kopta, i do get a save, this has to be the same chances as a squad of bolters hitting the buggy. The Green Baron Kopta can hit tanks rear armor 10 decently in HtH they really need a total Nob Profile.

Heavy BW deffrolla BS Riggers RPJ

Oh man, they're not allowing DFTS at your venue? That blows! DakkaJets is what keeps us competitive! Do they allow White Dwarf updates? You could always sneak them in on a technicality!

Anyways...

I'd drop the riggers off of the BW, but that's just me. I think that you're GTG on this list. Let me know what your comparison is between the buggy and the koptas after you play.

You'll want a ram on that trukk for DT rolls. Take another kopta instead of that buggy. You may even want to try 2 koptas with buzz sawz. If anything they will distract from the mob of boyz coming at them.
