So I'm looking for some ideas as to ways to make warhawk riders even better than they are already. I've done a bit of searching and already seen some creative ideas with bases being done, but I'm keen to see what can be done with the hawk and rider themselves. I must admit whilst the concept art for them in the Army Book is great, the actual model has always appeared a bit missmatched - the eagle to small the surfer too big, I have wondered about using the LotR eagles, however they are considerably bigger and have a spread out wing design rather than folded which makes them even wider. Also using those would mean that when I put down the mighty Great Eagle its - well it won't look that great.

Oh now they do look good! - that said I also game at the local GW store so ideally I'd prefer something I can convert or use from the GW range (mostly).
