Personally, I hope the Hive Mind never has a Kerrigan, I don't like that part of Zerg fluff whatsoever.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

I'd...really rather not have a cheesecake monstergirl in my swarm of utterly inhuman beasts.

Whatever floats your boat though, I guess you could run it as a Heirophant or a trygon prime if you're looking for a big damn synapse creature. A tervigon could work, although that'd be a bit creepy given the whole constantly giving birth thing.

How big is the model?

Not too great with remembering model sizes. Perhaps you could get away with running it as the swarmlord or a flyrant?

Show it next to a Tyranid model. Relative size is something I am good with.

What a pathetic creature. Completely lacking in carapace! And why has it grown it's toxin sacs on it's chest? They are way too vulnerable there! What a horrible waste of biomass. Into the digestion pool with it!

If I remember correctly, their is a creature called a norn queen that creates the different strains on a genetic level.

Tyranid ships, Dominatrices, Tervigons, and Spawning sites can all produce Tyranids. Many Tyranids can also independently reproduce.

If she's a giant you'll have to go Slaanesh - if not then the closest you'd get is a genestealer cultist gal (although genestealer cults are mostly missing now or at least have fallen out of favour with the nids to the point where we just don't see them on the tabletop side).

75 mm is about the height of a Hive Tyrant minus the vents and nose spike.

Agree that the above model would fit much better in the Chaos range than the Tyranid one, but if that's what you want to play then go ahead. I certainly wouldn't refuse...but I very well might do my utmost to shoot it off the table ASAP.

Metal, resin, or plastic? Because a 75mm tall hunk o' metal could also be repurposed as a blunt weapon. A plastic or resin version, less so.

That in no way looks like anything remotely tyranid, Slannesh Demon sure, some kind of weird transcendent C-Tan thing, maybe.....

But not a Nid

ehhh...its a hold over from dungeon and dragons. Weirdly hot alien female mother creature sending out waves of ravenous murder machines. Like Lolthe queen of spiders

Spiders being the most un-hot thing ever conceived. Lolth being considered a fairly (if not scarily) attractive Lady.

The model in question has very alien like tentacles and head gear and looks slimy. Applied to 40k I think tyranid.

Though to be honest....chaos DOES fit much better. But I already have a female chaos monster prince/lord/keeper.etc etc
