Currently starting to basecoat my menoth army in VMC 918 Ivory, planning on highlight up to VMC 820 offwhite. Just curious what people would suggest for a shade for those two colours. I have been debating on green grey and dark sand, but curious what ever one would suggest. I am going purple as the other main tone.

Looks like a decent shade. Tried dark sand, if i was doing a bunch of blending it would make a great mid shade. But by itself its not dark enough. Thanks for the suggestion.

It sounds like you are going for a warm white, which would look nice on a Menoth army. If so, this video might have some good information for you:

ScootyPuffJunior Thanks for the link. great method for building a white. Warm white will wokr a lot better with Menoth I think. Cool white is a bit too clean looking. Going to have to sample it tomorrow.
