So we probably are quite set with the eye that the rumoured 7th ed starter will be orks vs BA and that those two armies will see a do over very soon into the edition to bring them into line and push assaulty armys to the front!
So what of these releases?! orks have a growing list of possibility's but its just that they have some facts but its very difficult to discern what may become true due to orks having so many avenues for outdated kits! much more than one normal release would sort out anyways!

So I turn to BA, they have a more structured codex with some reasonably resent add-ons, it has limited holes to fill few kits to update, can be use that to our advantage to speculate the most likely course GW will take? will they fill a needed hole or will they make new ones?!

I call all wishes and speculation: so what evidence to we have to work with?!

THE (Current) KITS

-newish furi Dred box makes multi variants

-newish balaa tank box makes multi variants

-newish sang guard, vet jump dudes

-newish death comp, vet multi kit foot/jump

-version of gunship fancy missiles

-many older characters

-new vanilla sm kits tac, vanguards and sternguards basic and vet troops


What gaps can we see in this? I cant see much to be fair! the new ed calls for a psychic phase, orks have there rumoured waaghh shizlakk going down, so id say its likely we see a re due of a powerful named psychic character or a new generic psychic character. I have to admit I don't know a lot about BA ive never had one of there codex what is there affiliation in terms of psychic characters, would they role a psychic battle group?
I know they love to beat stick!? so maybe a new version of a unit, DA SW GK have there termies maybe BA get some new freeform termies akin to chaos termie loadouts or something? Dare I suggest an assault rhino variant?!
Any wayz enough of my ranting whats everyones opinions on the matter?!

Um. No.

Warseer closed that particular rumour because it is among the most blatant wishlisting "fake-rumours" in a long, long time.

Blood Angels vs. Orks almost certainly is a Faeit-BOLS circle-copy-cat which has not been substantiated by any credible rumour-source.

The most reliable rumour, I believe, is still 40K Radio, saying that 7th Edition is a "book only" release without a new push-fit-minis starter box.

Looking at the Dark Angel and Space Wolf codices my money is on one of the following:

A new flyer with wings slick with blood that with cannons that spray the enemy with molten blood.

Thundervampire Cavalry. Blood Angels riding quadruped nosferatu.

I don't care the actual specs as long as the update means competitive battle again. BA are so broken right now it's like agreeing to play chess without your queen against an opponent.

I guess for competition reasons many would accept to test their skills while handicapped

I completely agree. I play blood angels and they need a fix up. They are way overpriced for what they do and the red thirst rule replace fearless, can't be over runned, and auto regroup( and shall know no fear) for fearless with +1 strength at the first turn of assault if you assaulted them (furious charge) which really isn't that bad but I have to stick a sanguinary priest with all my guys just for them to see the light of turn two

On top of that when I picked the game up I was so happy to get my first box of sang guard and death company just to find out that sang guard are power weapon hogs with no invulnerable save and the point value of terminator. Death company are way to expensive...that's about it from them everything about them is expensive point value wise. Their lemartes upgrade is to expensive one of my favorite guys to take is now less bang for more buck. The list can go on but they're still my favorite and I will continue to play them.
P.S. It also disheartens me that I can't even take mophiston anymore he just sit there and collects dust(mophiston was the queen chess piece of the blood angels)

Pretty much all the special characters need a price drop and/or buffs. The Sanguinor should be much tougher and have more wounds for 275. A space marine bike chapter master is more Killy at 245 or so and is tougher with more wounds. And has Ap2 to boot.

BA need a lot of love.
