Well, figured might as well try and show off some of the stuff I've been up to since others do that aswell

. Not sure if it belongs here or in the projects forum but I"m sure if I'm wrong I'll be corrected. Anyways, on to the photo's then. Apologies for the quality of the pictures, I don't have a very good camera and the weather today isn't all that co-operative :(
First of some random scatter scenery, the cacti/ bones stuff are supposed to count as Woods. Having real forest in a western setting seemed kind of odd to me and I had these bits around since they weren't good for what I originally had bought them. The bases are a bit sparse because I wanted to have as much freedom in being able to place the models on them. Might not look very gorgeuous and thick but it has proven to be pretty effective for gameplay. The rails were the result of a quick rummage through my bits box after feeling the table was still somewhat empty. Doesn't do anything in game aside from making it look a bit nicer and all. They were made from left over modular movement trays (back in the days when those were still cheap-ish) and some wooded coffee stir stick (or whatever they are called).
The rocks I made because, well, let's be honest, wild west settings just need those things. That, and me being a lazy and cheap git, just used what was around. Ofcourse the missus wasn't quite that happy when she realized that coasters were missing when she needed them but sacrifices have to be made

. Still, they are really easy to make, just tear up some cork coasters that cost you pretty much next to nothing, Glue together in desired shape with some hobby glue, slap some paint and sand on and you're done, really fast and easy and it looks pretty good I think anyways. I added some grass tufts because it looked a bit bland without them and it just finished it off so to say. I tried to put in some different Heights for some in game variety and to actually give the bigger pieces some use other than being simply
los blockers. When/if I can be bothered I might make some more so I can make a table covered mostly with that stuff, might make for interesting games.
Finally some actual good looking stuff. Got some houses from Battleflag. Roofs can all be removed, and you can't see it but they all have back doors aswell which makes them quite usefull in game. Only small critisism I have is that there's no silhouette of the doors inside of the building. They went together really well and easy. They might be a bit small for the current plastics but not problematically so in my opinion. They are perfect height for the older metal models. I put in Yan Lo and Perdita for some comparison. Seeing as how good the models looked without paint I only added some sand and painted the roofs and some details, the rest is still pretty much unpainted. They all come with signs for on the front aswell but I haven't actually done anything with those yet as I"m still doubting what to put on them. For what they cost I am very pleased with them I have to say. I might get one or two more when I've managed to finish the rest of my to do list (including actually painting the board itself ). For now though I think I have a good combination of different buildings. Only downside with Battleflag buildings is that there really only are 3 basic shapes and the rest are variations thereof. But with the amount needed I can live with that.
Anyways, that's it for now, comments and critisism is Always welcomed.
