hopefully i'll get some pics soon...

This is my easy FW -> FB conversion, it loses the cloak and stuff to keep it simple for noobs like me.
It's my first ever conversion, so comments would be greatly appreciated!

Stuff I used:
fire warrior pieces (bare head, braced legs)
some assault marine bitz I had lying around

For the base glue on a SM front torso and backpack (assault marine kit has spares)
Glue the legs on top
glue on a FW body
for the left arm;

cut the grenade launcher off a spare carbine and glue to the top of the loose rifle (markerlight)
glue rifle to arm, add shoulder pad

for right arm:

cut out grenade from grenade arm
replace with knife from SM bitz

add both arms and head to body
use SM pockets as extra armour to bulk him out

It sounds like good, solid conversion. Can't wait to see the picture(s).

If you want to add a cape on later, you might be able to pick one up from a WHFB High-Elf player, but I don't know if any of the kits have a spare cape.

Thanks, I didn't fancy trying to make my own, so I'll ask around my local group.
