Looking at infinity lately and picked up the Neoterran sectoral starter box (loved the look of the models).

A few questions.
- in the online guides where do I see the point cost for tr units in the box?
- where do I find the sectoral bonus?
- what should I invest in next?

If the answers are easy to find, my bad ><

Hello,

All things related to army building are easiest to find on the army builder. Either the official devil team one: http://infinitythegame.com/army/ or there's aleph toolbox which is another option that can go on phones and such.
General rules for sectorials are in the human sphere expansion available in the downloads section: http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/en/downloads/. In the army builder you can selecet a sectorial when choosing to make a new list. This has all the changes in it. Between the standard army and the sectorials normally only availability changes. In some cases the SWC cost changes (unsure about points, never noticed) but the basic statline stays the same. And some units get the linkable rule.
Lastly I dont play pano so cant say.

For any rules, use the wiki. Here are the rules for link teams, including the bonuses.

The Neoterra starter is about 230 points - most games are played at 300 points. I'd suggest either auxilia or the Bolts support pack as a next buy.

If you are learning the rules and how to play - I recommend starting with the bare basics and 3 LI and a single HI. 4 models. NO Lt special order, no retreat, no LoL.

Learn the orders sequence and AROs. Learn the die rolls and rules for movement and combat. Add in the special rules one at a time. Start with LoL and Lt order, add in Chain of command and others.

Once you have that down, move to 150pts.

If you jump in a 300pts, you will invariably be dissatisfied and discouraged. Whilst the deep end method may work with some people, the mechanics of this game are different enough from many others that your preconceptions will be bound to be disappointed.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
