The Twilight Zone

Give your commanders 2 marker drones each, they are slightly cheaper than marker drones for a unit, but still bring the benefits.

Never take shielded missile drones on a riptide. The ablative wounds seem nice, but if you fail a leadership check due to losing a drone you could be in serious trouble. It is generally not worth the risk. Both iontides need EWO's, but stims are optional.

If you have points, the skyrays always benefit from blacksun fliters. Sensor spines are also good.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Thank you for the response.

Changed the Markers and given the skyrays BSF's. keeping the shielded drones on the riptide for now. can always change it later if it costs me to many games or he runs off too often.

anything else at all?

Also i second the use of the sensor spines they are great moving in and out of cover is nice plus once the dump there load they can tank shock and hopefully get enemy troops off their obj. Also at 2000 points only have three scoring units is rough especially when two units have to get close to shoot. Also two commanders seems overkill when they both do the same thing. i would remove one and add a marker light drone squad and attached the one commander to it and you have six almost auto-hit marker lights then you have enough points to add one more troop. And really the drones with the riptides are pointless
