So I'm putting together a harem scene. At one point, I'm certain I've seen a resin base that was designed for that sort of thing, with cool plush pillows and whatnot. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, or is this one of those Twilight Zone things that only I seem to have experienced?

Any guesses about the manufacturer?

Unfortunately, no clue. Checked SWM, Dragonforge, and Dark Age, but couldn't find it there. Google has not aided me in my search.

That?

It's $50AU, from Eureka Miniatures.

It seems like it should be OOP (It's ~7 years old) but Eureka is still listing it on their page; so I imagine you should email them if it's what you want.

Wasn't the one I was thinking of, (the one I saw was like 40k bases, but bigger, like dreadnought sized) but it's cool! I wonder how hard it would be to chop up...

It's resin - so provided you have the right tools, not too hard at all.

If you don't have the right tools, then it will be a right b*tch to cut up.

What ARE the right tools in this case?

Well, a dremel will help. With cutting bits/discs. You will have to go slow - but unlike styrene, you won't melt it by going too fast.

A fine toothed razor saw will also be helpful.

Clippers or a scalpel will ONLY help you into your local ER.

As will doing any chopping, sawing, or dremelling WITHOUT decent respiritary protection. Resin dust can do really nasty things to your lungs.

Play safe amnd look after them.
