Hey Dakka. I got me a craving for a marathon reading session and around 15 or so years ago I read a series of Sci Fi books about a post apocalyptic world with a tribe of people living underground and another, more backwards tribe, living above ground. The under-earth dwellers had all the technology and the over-earth dwellers used some form of magic. I think there was a character called 'Cadillac' but that's about all I remember.... Any help in identifying these books would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

I've got the "Dark Visions" guide to the Amtrak wars artbook on my bookshelf.

I kept seeing "Mr Snow" as a Graham Greene type character.
(This one, not the british writer).

Specifically "Walter Crow-horse" from the Val Kilmer film "thunderheart". The wisecracking oldster.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
