The painting so far is good, I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

A couple of points.
I don't know if it's possible, but it seems to me that a circle of thin plasticard in the ends of the fuel tanks would remove that unsightly join line with a minimum of fuss

shows the searchlight on my Baneblade - a long time WiP that I have never seemed to get around to finishing. The searchlight is from http://www.little-cars.co.uk/list2.html and is one of the 10, 12, oe 14mm headlights at £2.50 for a pack of 4. I can't remember which size I used at the time, but am sure you can measure the diameter of the searchlight and get the one closest to that. Mine is a little bigger, but that just makes sure it looks like the silver bezel around the edge looks screwed on. I filed the front face of the searchlight down until it was flat, then just glued the replacement on over the top.

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Thanks for your answer !

I was looking for something to hide those lines on the fuel tanks. I though about using liquid green stuff, but a bit of plastic card could also do the job as well. For the searhlight, I may use your tip, or maybe do something with my airbrush and a range of blue paints to have something different.

Thanks for your advices too
