Lol, no answer to flyers, limited mobility, etc I see that. But Did you see the part where it says it's not supposed to be super competitive? Just looking what i need to take/add to make the list a bit more well-rounded

Umm.. Maybe drop one of the bottom chainfist squads, use the points to buy drop pods and rhinos

Drop Njal and take 2 runepriests for cheaper/same price with Runic.. the only thing you're losing is the tempest effect

Definitely see the value in pods and losing the 245 pt charachter. However the whole point of this list was to run logan, njal, and arjac together with as many termies as possible. I do have a list with just logan and a bunch of wg/rp tda all in pods and the list does very well. Just wanted to try something with as many tda characters as possible for a wolfy trifecta

Okay. I'm with you, Bruvah.. fluff lists all the way.. Lets try this differently then

Theres two different ways to look at/solve the problem and still achieve what I think you're going for.
1. The *problem* is you have almost no range, except 1 caster and barely a handful of bolters. trade some chainfists for some assault cannons/Cyclone missile launchers so you can at least shoot back.

2. The *problem* is you're all close ranged specialist weapons. Swallow your pride. Drop 1 marine from each of the squads that will total 6 with characters, and use those savings for rhinos.

Remember, minimum wolf guard squad is 3, not 5... go 4 on the ones with characters.

For sure, I'll tinker with the squad numbers, forgot it was min 3! I grabbed an AC for the bottom two squads but they are still 24 inch range i believe so cyclones would definitely help. I don't think I can take rhinos in tda however, was straying away from drop pods since all of them can't drop together

Apologies, yeah no Rhinos for Space wolf Termies... the only way to get them across the field quickly is either a lucky warlord outflank trait or drop pods. Do what you can, man.

Checked the dex, no rhinos or razor backs for tda guys... guess I'll be taking pods instead. Gonna tinker the list a bit

Sad to lose all the chainfists but this will give 3 cml and drop pods to each group, assuming logan and njal count towards being the 5th man in each squad to unlock heavy guns

Edit: removed two guys in tda from groups 2 and 3, replaced with power armor to make room for hqs and brought a couple more combi weps. I know this takes away from the all Termie fluff but maybe they can be huscarls for the lords

Unfortunately, they dont count as the 5th man, as they're attaching at deployment. So you can toss the Cyclones on the other two squads, effectively freeing up 30 points. Give melta bombs to a few of the Wolfguards for 5 pts each

I actually really like this list. I was skeptical when you didn't have transports but now that you do, I can see it being a lot of fun to play

Made some final tweaks to the list, I think this might be as good as its going to get. I could always run the power armor guys naked and give more toys to the termies, but I thought it better to spread out the gear across the list.

Still as a fluffy/fun list, the whole thing (other then IC duh) is scoring, and mostly 2+/5++ which adds some competitiveness to it.

I think if your fighting a likewise fun list you should have a close game, but if you fight someone who is a WAAC spam nerd, don't bother pulling models out.

I feel that. Save my 4 rune priest or 3 heldrake list for those games. Fight cheese with cheese

It would be the lowest causality game ever. I have like 50 models and you have like 25, my ap 3 bolters would plink off that terminator armor, and your power weapons would take forever to cleave through my 4++ saves. Lol.
