Hey all, my rebel list failed spectacularly last week, so was hoping for some advice on improving it

It's definitely a good start. Roark can offset the lower pilot skills you typically see in 4 ship rebel builds, plus he can give you a lovely ion cannon to handle things that sneak around behind you.

Biggs is always handy, especially with a shield upgrade and R2-D2.

Ibitsam is nice, but she really benefits from something that stresses her, like Push the Limit. Also, for the most part, never put an ion cannon on a B-Wing. Compared to the HWK's turret you lose the 360 line of sight and you are giving up one of your big damage dealers' firepower.

A-Wings are nice blockers/flankers, but they are lacking in firepower.

I would take this core and turn it into something like this:
Biggs
2x Blue Squadron
Roark w/ ion turret

That's 93 points. You have a lot of options here. Biggs could take a shield upgrade or R4-D6 to help him survive a bit longer. You could throw Advanced Sensors on your B-Wings to make them a lot more flexible with their actions. You could add Flechette Torpedoes around to help funnel enemies into your arcs. 7 points goes a long way in this game.

Hope that helps, fly casual.

I was actually looking at a list close to what Chumby is recomending. It is 97 points for the list he quoted though, not 93. That said you can drop one Dagger Squadron pilot to a Blue squadron pilot and take advanced sensors on both B wings to get to 100 exactly. Then Roark can help offset the drop in pilot skill for the blue squadron pilot.

so your skills for shooting would be 12-5-4-4. Or you could pump up a different ship if you need.
