These guys have been so much fun to build, and I've finally gotten to painting them. They're all works in progress, and it's mostly just base coating and washing done so far, with some detail work on the eyes (I've learned to do eyes first). I intended my Bloodletters to look like a mixed bunch, so there's some varying schemes and styles going on here. However, in the finished project, there will be some consistency throughout too. One of the styles looks a little Nurgly, even though I play mono-Khorne, but it actually fits my lore slightly.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I've only painted one guy before these, a Possessed Marine. He didn't turn out as good as I think these will, but it's an entirely different style of painting too.

they look very bland.

I can show you how I did mine. They're very distinct on the tabletop and have won me painting prizes at tournaments before.

Pic for reference

North of your position

Some of them look a bit bland, but I really like the idea of giving some of them white heads!

Well as I said, they are still works in progress. There's still lots of detailing work I want to do. Other than that, what would you suggest?

I know your still in WIP stage but what I would like to see is alot of highlighting on the model so its dark and scary like a daemon should be but also very bright so the model "pops" I think the white head is helping with that and I cant wait to see more pictures!

Oh yeah, these are most definitely works in progress, I just wanted to show off the "concept." Has anyone else done multi-coloured hordes? What did they find were the advantages/disadvantages?
