Hi, I'm currently building an heresy death guard army and I'm trying to find a way to buy Forge World models without having to buy them from their website which is way too costly for a canadian citizen.

I stumbled upon this website ( http://all4wargames.com/ ) and was wondering what you guys thought, anyone purchased anything from them before? are they reliable ? because they have some very cheap forge world stuff

or maybe someone has another suggestion (ebay doesn't have much right now)

"Very cheap Forge World" usually translates as "recast", which is frowned upon here.

Almost certainly. There's 3 options with forge world products, of which 2 are legal;

1. Buy straight from FW. Costly as HELL, and the shipping is partically damning for canadians.
2. E-bay. Super inconsistent price wise, and you might end up with recasts anyways.
3. Recasters. There's a heap of them out there, and they have various levels of quality ranging from passable, to better than Forge World. Prices are also all over the map from less than half of FW/GW's price to 2/3s of their price.

Recasting is illegal in most of the world, and most of them come out of China and/or Russia.

Get an original (somehow) and make copies, like burning a DVD. But like I said, this is frowned upon - a mod will lock this thread when they see it and remove the link.

They get real FW stuff, make a mold from it (losing much detail) and make a whole bunch of "FW" minis.

What you get, if they mail it at all, is a very poor copy of the real deal. Imagine a copy, of a copy, of a copy? There it is.

Save yourself and your money. Try ebay, and be careful.

Copies and recasts aren't always of terrible quality - a lot of them are of the same detail level as what they're recasting. I've seen recasts both good and bad, but it's a legally grey area that's best to avoid. Get the real deal if you can. That way you support the artists who sculpt the figures and you can get customer support.

Also, the link in the OP is most definitely a recast site. I've seen them on eBay, and they operate out of Russia. Forgeworld stuff doesn't get distributed widely like core GW stuff, so if you're seeing it without the trademark Forgeworld bag it came it, it's safe to assume it's a recast.

Also wash every piece of each model with soap and water before painting

Try bitz barn. They sell "some" forge world stuff as a third party out of the usa. I know for a fact you can buy the primarchs and warhound off them as well as baneblades (and variants).

I dealt with the Russia one 3x. Came through everytime. $500 orders...

At least forgeworld if something wrong or badly cast, contact them you have customer service to help you put and most likely they will send a new part out or even whole kit if its totaly mangled n badly cast.
