we mostly play friend so no worries if this isnt the most competitive. And this is also the beginnings of a fluffly campaign we are going to start against him, his wife and a friend of ours.
any way enough rambling heres the list.

Your skellies might survive being in that big block but your greatest problem is a total lack of a heavy hitter. Sure you will be raising undead left and right but their not going to win the game. I would look into either a unit of graveguard or a unit of black knights. You can have a unit of graveguard with a seneschal leading it or give the black knights a banner of swiftness or even a leader and with 5 points left you can maybe give you necro a better bite elsewhere?

Glue those Crypt Horrors together.
I suggest proxying the ghouls as zombies, so you can have a bunker for your general. It will be real bad if he gets into combat as elves will rip him apart and you'll crumble to death because of that.
Necromancer, lvl2, Lore of Vampires
29 Skeleton Warriors Full command
5 Dire Wolves
20 Zombies
3 Crypt Horrors, Champ
clocks in at 499 points.

They serve different purposes.
Crypt horrors are one of the most durable units we have. Toughness 5, and a 5+ regen, also you get casterlevel+1 wounds back on invocation. They also have poison and strength 4, so they can give nearly as good as they get.
Vargheists on the other hand is a glasscannon in every sense of the word. toughness 4 with no save. But they can fly and have 3 attacks + frenzy, so with a unit of 3 with champ you are looking at13 attacks at strength 5 which will do some serious hurt.
Both are good in different situations, but I'd build them as CHs if I were you, as they will give you a very good unit that can hold up more then a round in close combat.
