A year or so back I got 5 MK3 Iron Armour marines on ebay which turned out to be pretty bad fakes, so recently dug them out to use as a couple of paint scheme testers for an army yet to be purchased. I really like the Mk3 armour so I'll be using that whatever I go for.



I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to which armies are the more popular and I don't intend on using them for a 30k game, just stand-ins for 40k Chaos Marines.

I recon people will suggest the Iron Warriors as it's MK3 but are there many Night Lords armies out there? they seem a little more fun/unusual to paint.

Any comments?

Night Lords! I love the dark blue armor, and I love lightning bolts! Ha. Plus, the Iron Warrior's scheme is honestly a bit boring.
