Here's what I thinking with an unbound Necron list, assuming unbound is as unbound as it appears. No AA but the plan is to win the ground battle:
Transcendent C'tan: transliminal stride, 2 Waves of Withering 780
Transcendent C'tan: transliminal stride, Wave of Withering, Cosmic Fire 720
1500 exactly. I could drop a stride to Seismic Shockwave to get another Wave but with D being toned down getting into the thick of it seemed more important.

Well I'm assuming D weapons will still be pretty uber just will now allow invuns. Which if anything makes the C'tan better as it still ignores cover itself and D Weapons were the only real threat to it. Unless you've heard more rumours on D weapons than me?
I mean what would actually kill this list? 2 Warhounds perhaps. But not a lot else.

Pretty sure that my 1500 greentide will have no problems locking those guyz up. Since i got 150+ models abroad. And the moment you get in mellee - you're not getting out.

You have to be able to hurt someone to charge and with d3 stomps a turn I can chew through a boy mob in 2 rounds of combat. No challenging to stop me either now. Sorry but 180 boys at 1500 is not competitive.

I recon I kill 3+ Serpents a turn. How much damage do they do to me? 7 shields are 4.5 shots each 7 Scatters with 4 each. So thats 59.5 shots 52.89 hits 8.81 wounding hits less than 2 unsaved wounds a turn. Even with all the DAs out and shooting you're lucky to do 4 wounds a turn and no way would you ever get all your firepower off if you Castle so you can do this I wipe all the Serpents in 1 turn. Sorry but the 7 Serpents are at a very poor match up against this as none of their good rules really work against D flamers.

Why lol?
I'm a horrible matchup for Serpent spam I should table them in 2 turns.
Lets say Serpents go first I deploy out of LoS so they have to move and bunch up to shoot me. They do that and do 2 wounds to a C'tan. Now my turn. I can't get anyone with the stride yet but the First one should be able to easily cover 2 Serpents with each template (more likely 3-4 if you've bunched to get shots but we'll stack everything in the Serpents favour) they are dead on 2+ so that should be at least 3 dead again we're stacking in Serpents favour.
Then the next C'tan shoots should again be able to hit 2 Serpents both dead on 2s. That should be 5 dead serpents. Then I shoot the S6 ap2 hellstorm over all the guys that have jumped out lets say I some how only kill 10. That leaves you with 2 Serpents and 25 Dire Avengers and it is game. Next turn should be near wipeout at best you'll just have stragglers to clear up in turn 3.
Seriously given I move 18" a turn can hide as easily as a Dreadnought and can kill your whole army in 2 good turns of shooting how on earth are you expecting to beat this with Serpent Spam? I just don't get your thought process?
