Hi, I'm Kalani, I just started playing 40k as Orks, though I had been collecting the models for about roughly a year. It started off as a way to dell with a lot stress I was having at the time. A f

friend of mine asked if I could help him paint some of his model for a match, I agreed and helped, and as was painting, I notice that I became really relaxed. Things that had been really

weighing on my mind just seemed to go away as I paint, I liked this feeling so much that I decided to buy my own models, which slowly grew number. Recently it dawned on me that I had a

lot of Orks....why not just start playing. I Join the site hoping to get some good tips on playing, and I hear that community is really cool and helpful when it comes to that.

Kalani, I just had to reply when I saw what you wrote. I feel the same peace and calm when painting as well, for there is only you and the project. All other things melt into the background. Almost like meditation.
