Could anyone quickly remind me upon the rules of passengers in transports and shooting? The page number on the rulebook would be fine.

It's around page 80. Not sure the exact number though.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I have a question about passengers shot in out of a transport that I will poor here instead of starting another thread.

Say you have an IG Veteran Squad with 2 Plasma Guns in a Chimera. Does the Chimera and the Vet squad have to shoot at the same time even though they can shoot at different targets?

For example, can I shoot the Lasgun arrays, HB, and Multi-laser turret at Flying Monstrous creatures to ground him, and then shoot the plasma vets at the now grounded monstrous creature?

The Chimera and the Vet squad are not the same unit, they do not shoot at the same time and do not have to shoot at the same target.

The best way to think about the chimera isn't that the guys inside are shooting. Rather just that the chimera itself is able to "activate" the las gun arrays depending on the number of passengers it has.

In other words, the chimera is the one shooting the arrays while the squad inside is free to do what it normally can.

Fluffy explanation:
The Chimera is in control of the targeting systems and the officer on board decides what they are pointed at. However these weapons do not have dedicated gunners or the full array of automatic reloading systems, as someone thought it was a good idea to remove those so a squad could take their place. Got to get some use out of the meat-bags before they are shredded on the battlefield, and no one gets a free ride to their glorious death, so better get them onto those systems and keep them hot and ready.
