Hello.I'm new painting warhammer.
My first project was the Cadian shock troop, following the youtube video. The miniatures looks very good!!
I also read "how to paint citadel miniatures" that helped me a lot to understand how to paint.
Now my next step is to be able to paint without watching a video lol
I want to paint Catachan Jungle Fighters and watching the colors of the box says:
elysian-green
scarlet-evil sunz
brown-balor
caliban-green
Among others.

So it's ok if I apply the techniques to those colors, Following the colour guide of citadel? for example

Basecoat: death world forest, wash: Athonian camoshade, layer: elysian green

Basecoat: xv 88, wash: sepia seraphim, layer: balor brown.

or the color references are not useful?

thank you!
