Dvastator here. Been a lurker checking out this site since not long after it started I believe and just now decided to add myself to the masses. I used to play 40K, 30K, Fantasy, BattleFleet Gothic, Mordheim, Necromunda, Flames of War, and Flames of War Vietnam. Sadly I have spent way too much time and money on my hobbies and moved to an area with no gamers with-in 50 to 100 miles depending on which way you travel. I guess now I am more into background and painting than the gaming part. Mayhaps I can find some gamers out here in the middle of Dublin, Georgia someday!
I have collected numerous armies over the years. I have been playing, collecting, and painting 40K and Fantasy minis since 1990. I have 3 Imperial Guard (Astra Militarium) Regiments, 3 different Space Marine Chapters (Sanguine Knights DIY, Spectral Wolves DIY, and Lamenters), a fairly large Imperial Fleet for BFG, ancient metal Eldar miniatures, a Adeptus Arbites army using the BOLS rules set they did, more Skaven than I could possibly dream of painting, A fairly decent sized Beast of Chaos army, a Dogs of War army, an Esher gang for Necromunda (The Candy Rain), and my Sororitas army (The Order of the Noble Heart). Currently I am working on a 30K Ad-Mech army which I am really thanking Forge World for!
Outside of Games Workshop stuff I also do Flames of war and have a US Airborne company which I will have to redo because it is from the Second edition books. I am also just now starting to get into the FoW Vietnam Tour of Duty. I have started a Air Cavalry Troop (Apache Troop 1/9th Cav), and an Armored Cavalry Troop (1/11th ACR Black Horse a unit I actually served with in the Army). At some point I will see what I can do to post piccy's of some of my stuff. I am not a super painter but I think I do alright. Hopefully you will to. BTW, the Forge World Templar Dread in my profile piccy is painted in my Sanguine Knights Chapter colors. Amazingly the Dietician where I work is an amateur photographer and made it look pretty good!
Enough about me, I hope to make the aquaintence of your company and contribute fully to this fine adventure we call our hobby!
