I am trying to update my old Jetbikes to the current, smaller stands. Do the smaller stands use the shorter rods, or the longer ones? Also, do people generally also use the smaller stands for their Jetbike Farseers/Warlocks as well, or are they normally on the larger ones?

A new day, a new time zone.

They're on whatever post height you want to use.

Seconded. They come with two posts (the same you get on the larger ones). You can use either-or.

There are two different SETS of posts. A tall set, and a short set. Which set comes with the new jetbike kit?

EDIT:
The reason I am asking is because if you order the newer small bases from the GW website, it appears that they come with the short set of posts.

Here is the larger bases. They seem to come with the taller posts.

The jetbike kit looks like it is a combination of tall posts and small bases.

Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to order a bunch of bases just to end up with a bunch of wrong sized posts.

I recently purchased some sets of the small flying bases from GW mail-order and they were supplied with the shorter pair of posts, but they don't look right. So I'll be using the small bases with the longer rods for my Jetbikes (with the large bases and short stands for tanks).

Not even GW knows what goes with what, they seem to change it every few years. My belief, they just throw in the box whatever was handy.

That said, the longer set looks better to me, otherwise the jetbike just 'feels' too small.

I bought 4 boxes of bikes 2 weeks ago and each box came with 3 small flight circles and then a set of short posts and a set of long posts...

Mine mostly had both sticks, and the skimmer base.
But 1 was on the smaller round base, with just the long stick.
These are mostly from ebay, though, and not all BNIB.

I use the posts from MAGZ. I glue them to a large flying base and viola I have magnetized jetbike bases. The full post is the same length as a long post from GW. I have also cut some in half to use on my skimmer tanks.
