So i have more grey knights than i could ever hope to field. And was thinking of trading or selling some off to do a DKoK army.
Ive read a little bit on there fluff and they seem pretty bad ass. How do they preform gameplay wise? I mean what tactics work
for them and what units would you suggest i take. I dont plan on building more than an 1850 pt army so if i do swap of some of
my Grey Knights i want to be sure to get the most bang for my but competitively speaking.

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

Thudd guns and earthshaker artillery carriages

Insanely durable, pack a big punch, and are barrage

Hades breaching drills for forward scoring (assuming 7th ed everything scores shenanigans)

I'm not familiar with anything else really

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I think there may also be medusa artillery carriages as well and those would be nasty on top of everything else

Almost anything they can do, 6th guard can do better. Everything they had has now been added into FW's availability for Guard or was added into the Guard codex. Only thing they have now is the Death Korps riders. Those guys are what Rough Riders always should have been. 2W, 2-3 base attacks, 4+ armor, 6+ fnp, WS4, and reroll dangerous terrain (you take a lot of those with cavalry)

Most DKoK lists are massed walking infantry with artillery. The artillery does most of the damage while the infantry fends off anything that gets close. All infantry squads are 4+ armor, and all have grenades of both types. Their shotguns are actually quite good with access to shred. Also access to hotshot lasguns in their elite/troop slot (depends if they are using siege list or assault list)

There's two DKoK lists that play very differently from one another, though both are currently outshined by the AM.

Do you mean the Siege list or the Assault list?
