So with the new 40k 7 ed rules pretty much leaked, i was wondering if webway portal lists could work a bit better now with dedicated transports being able to infiltrate now, its even easier to get portals into good positions, do people think the portal list could be better now?

Infiltrators can already (6th) Infiltrate along with their dedicated transport. This isn't new.

Yes they could, but now with 7th any dedicated transport can infiltrate, meaning you could get multiple webway portals into descent positions of the board.

Are you saying all DTs have the infiltrate rule?

because otherwise, there is no change from current rules.

So whaaaaaaat? I hope this is true.

Of all the 7th rumours, this seems a little far fetched.

No idea where he got that idea, only dedicated transports who are transporting an infiltrating unit can infiltrate.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

And they don't fix the important part. Units coming through the portal can't assault when they arrive.

Dark Eldar are going to be at their best as Beaststar or loaning their raiders to Seer Councils.

I can't wait to burn the passengers inside of scouting open toped transports with my double flamer land speeder ;-)

I don't think it works like that

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

It does. Template weapons now cause extra hits on passengers on open top or on units inside buildings if you hit the fire port on the building with the template

It has been pointed out (by people with the book) that DTs don't come with infiltrate; it works as nowadays. But if you put an IC with Infiltrate in a squad with or without the rule, they can Infiltrate (and its DT as well, if they're on it)
